NOCONA, TX (RNN Texoma) - News Channel 6 is learning more about a deadly wreck that claimed the lives of two Wichita County men and injured a third.
Nocona News is reporting the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals rejected a last-ditch effort by the Attorney General of Texas to admit blood evidence in a manslaughter case from 2015.
Terri Sanders is facing two counts of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle in the case.
Montague County's District Attorney announced her office will now have to re-examine what evidence they are left with before deciding how to proceed with charges against Sanders.
The fatal accident which Sanders is charged with happened four miles West of Nocona on U.S. Highway 82 on October 23, 2015.
