WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

An annual golf tournament held by the Wichita County Sheriff's Office happened at the Champions Course at Weeks Park on Friday.

The four-person scramble, for a good cause, included a hole-in-one contest for a trip to Hawaii, prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, and straightest drive.

"This is a chance for people to come out, play golf, and support us at the same time," said an attendee.

All proceeds will benefit the Alumni Association of the Citizen's Academy.

More than half of the 17 people killed when a tourist boat sank on a Branson lake were members of the same Indiana family, and they likely wouldn't have been on the ill-fated trip but for a ticket mix-up.
