MSU students walk the Kay Yeager stage for graduation

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Those who work with the Midwestern State University office said this year's graduating class is one of its largest.

More than 600 mustangs walked across the stage Saturday and into the next chapter of their lives.

Graduates and their families filed into the Kay Yeager Coliseum to celebrate.

One graduate, Madison Brechbuhl. talked about what she is most excited about after graduating with a bachelor in psychology and sociology.

"Not having to go to class anymore," she said. "Just the freedom of being an actual adult and doing what I want and learning about what I want, helping people."

Also honored Saturday were eight retiring faculty members as well as Dr. David Carlston, Professor of Psychology, who received the Hardin Professor Award.

Congratulations to all those who graduated from Midwestern State and every other university.
