LAKE ARROWHEAD, TX (KAUZ) -

Lake Arrowhead State Park was busy Saturday as the 2018 Faith Bass Tournament was taking place.

First Alert Meteorologist Ken Johnson hit the water Saturday as well and said it was tough out there because of the wind.

Despite the wind, Ken ended up with five fish, but only two of them were keepers.

35 teams also braved the wind as they competed for the heaviest five fish of the tournament.

The winners of the tournament, Kevin Sullivan, and Keith Hughes, had a five-fish limit totaling over 19 pounds.

They said it's not only about the catch, but also the cause of helping Faith Mission.

"Oh we love it, it's the main reason for us showing up being here at this tournament in particular," said Kevin Sullivan.

"Yeah I think this was a great deal for the city of Wichita Falls," Keith Hughes said. ", I think that Faith Mission is doing an excellent job of helping out these people and getting their lives back on track."

Sullivan and Hughes received $2,000 for their win.

Faith Mission also won big Saturday. They raised more than $11,000 from the event.
