WFPD investigates two shootings on Pearl Ave.

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

A man was sent to the hospital after a shooting early Monday morning on Pearl.

According to WFPD, just after 1 a.m. officers were dispatched to a home in the 1600 block of Pearl.

When officers arrived on scene they discovered a man had been shot in the arm. 

The victim was taken to United Regional to be treated for the non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Sgt. Harold McClure said this shooting is believed to be related to another shooting in the same block on Saturday.

Both incidents are under investigation. Officials said these are targeted events and there is no threat to the public.
