AUSTIN, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Texas DPS is asking for the public's help in solving a disappearance case from 2003.
On October 2, 2003, Monica Carrasco who was 16 at the time disappeared from her aunt and uncle's house in Reeves County near Balmorhea.
Despite law enforcement effort, her whereabouts are still unknown. She was last seen wearing a beige nightgown, and the investigation revealed the only thing missing from her room was her Bible.
Family and friends have had no contact from Carrasco since her disappearance, and she is believed to be the victim of foul play.
A reward of up to $6,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible
