WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

Child Care Incorporated celebrated Family Day at their Zale Child Care Center on Lamar Street Thursday.

They invited families to come out and spend time together with their children and enjoy things like Elijah the Comfort Dog, and the Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra. The local Kiwanis Club also cooked hot dogs.

"Today we really just wanna have some fun, we want to interact with our families," said Lindsay Greer, Development Director at Child Care Inc. "So this evening we wanted to let the parents come out, have some hot dogs with the kids, let the staff interact with the parents and just have a lot of fun and just try to build some more additional relationships."

Organizers hope that the family day today allowed the children to experience some things they never had before.
