Today won't seem a whole lot different than yesterday. Skies will be mostly sunny, winds will be light, morning temperatures will be pleasant, this afternoon will be hot and humid. There isn't much hope for rain between now and the weekend other than some stray thunderstorms wander into our western counties overnight. The weather headline in the seven day forecast is a hot Memorial Day weekend.
Confidence is growing that temperatures will climb into the mid, perhaps upper 90s Saturday, Sunday, and maybe Monday. By the way, these are considered normal high temperatures for mid and late July. Forecast models hint at the summer heat remaining through the end of the month.
