Today's edition of the seven day forecast suggests we've jumped straight into the heart of summer, featuring many high temperatures considered normal for mid July. The coolest day on the seven day is today with a forecast high of 91. Highs this weekend will be in the mid, perhaps upper 90s. Despite what we could call a heat wave, it doesn't appear any standing record high temperatures are in jeopardy, unless we make it to 102 on Saturday.
As for rain, outflow boundaries from storms to our northwest overnight could trigger spotty showers today but most of us won't see rain. As you would expect with genuine summer weather pattern, rain chances are no better than slim through early next week.
