WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University announced it's participation in the ninth annual Blue Star Museums Program.
These museums offer free admission to the nation's active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Although the WFMA does not charge to get in, the museum is honoring military personnel for their service while sharing its cultural treasures.
"But it's good to know, because we are a military town, and we love to have them out her looking at the art we are putting up, enjoying our activities, we have other things like Live at the Lake but all our activities like that for the public are free we would just be glad to have them out," said Community Engagement Manager Mary Maskill.
WFMA hours are 10 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
