Thunderstorms are part of Friday's forecast. Much of the day will be sunny and hot with highs in the mid 90s. Then, late this afternoon thunderstorms are expected to develop over our western counties and sweep through Texoma this evening. The strongest storms will be produce high winds, maybe hail. Storms will be gone before midnight. Today's seven day forecast is hotter than yesterday's with highs in the upper 90s this weekend.
A new weather headline comes at the end of the seven day (late next week) when temperatures are expected to climb to one hundred or more, over fifteen degrees above normal for this time of the year. During this stretch of summer weather, rain chances are slim.
