Man suffers severe injury in wreck on Kell Blvd. W

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

An accident on Thursday morning stalled traffic along Kell Blvd. W near Arthur Street. 

Around 8:23 a.m. first responders were called out to the area for an injury accident. 

According to WFPD, a van was traveling westbound in the right lane of Kell Blvd. and a motorcycle was behind it. 

The van was attempting to turn onto Arthur Street when the motorcycle ran into the back of the van, according to police. 

The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, however, suffered a severe leg injury in the collision. 

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the Dallas-Fort Worth area for treatment but officials said the injuries are non-life threatening.
