Yesterday's high in Wichita Falls was 86 degrees. That's below average for this time of the year. Chances are, that will be our final below average day for a while. We're back to the 90s today and temperatures will climb as the week goes on. We'll finish the week with high temperatures nearly 10 degrees above average. If there is good news in the seven day, it's that we've removed all triple digit highs replacing them with highs in the upper 90s.
We've seen thunderstorms this morning just east of the Newschannel 6 viewing area, toward I-35. It's possible that places like Nocona and St Jo could see rain between now and midday. The rest of us get mostly sunny skies. Rain chances are slim through the weekend.
