WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

Sunday was the final day of the Ink Masters Tattoo Expo in Wichita Falls.

People showed up at the MPEC for a chance to see some of the country's most talented tattoo artists.

The event was still expected to bring thousands to the city despite the fact that there is no full-service hotel by the MPEC yet.

The owner of Ink Masters said he was very happy with the turnout.

"About 3800 people by the end of the week, they came out, next year it will get bigger and better," said Raymond Hernandez. "A lot of customers on social media were thanking me for bringing the show here, you know they were saying hey thank you for bringing the show, at least I don't have to travel to another town to go get on your show."

Hernandez said he will definitely be bringing the convention back to Wichita Falls in the future.
