WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - A Wichita Falls home known to local fire fighters is destroyed following a weekend fire.
The Wichita Falls Fire Department was called out to the 1000 block of Tulsa Street just before 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Upon arrival, crews found a single-story home fully engulfed in flames.
Assistant Fire Marshal Jody Ashlock says the sheet rock had been removed from the walls inside the home, causing the fire to spread quickly.
Officials say it took about 30 minutes to put out the fire.
The cause is still undetermined, but it's suspected that vagrants were living there.
No one was in the home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
WFFD has responded to the address twice recently for other fires.
