WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Midwestern State University welcomed two new head coaches to the offices at Ligon Coliseum this week. Valerie Armstrong takes over as volleyball coach, while Ryan Spence will lead the women's soccer program.
Both have Texoma ties as they return to the area. Armstrong was head coach at Vernon College for four years before becoming a Division I assistant, most recently at Binghamton (NY). Spence was a 3-time All America player and later served as a graduate assistant for the Mustang men's team.
