WF City Council awards contract for phase two of drainage project

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Work can now move forward with the second phase of a nearly $8.5 million drainage project in Wichita Falls.

On Tuesday, the city council awarded a bid for Phase II of that project, which will alleviate the flooding in an area of Kemp Blvd.

Streets that will undergo construction including; Avenue I, Avenue L, and Kemp Blvd.

Phase II is expected to cost just over $4.1 million and will take one year to complete.
