After a night of intense weather, including high winds resulting in power outages, Friday will be a little more calm, though thunderstorms can't be ruled out completely. This afternoon will be breezy and hot with highs in the mid and upper 90s. The weekend's weather will be a continuation of this week's weather with comfortable mornings, steady south winds, slim rain chances and hot afternoons.
Our prevailing weather pattern, more common for late July, doesn't look to change anytime soon.
