WICHITA COUNTY, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Two people were booked into jail Friday following a chase and discovery of methamphetamine, according to police.
Around 9:30 a.m. a Wichita County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle at Southwest Parkway and Greenbriar Road.
Following a chase, the suspect vehicle was stopped after it was forced off the road on the U.S. 281 Access Road.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found 25 grams of methamphetamine.
The 26-year old man who was driving and the 29-year old woman who was the passenger were arrested and transported to the Wichita County Jail.
The driver was charged with evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, and an outstanding warrant for attorney off bond-possession of a controlled substance under one gram.
The passenger was charged with an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance under one gram.
The Wichita County Sheriff's Office said no injuries were reported.
