We're on to a new week but its the same old weather in the seven day forecast. There have only been two days this month when temperatures were at or below average for June. The forecast calls for high temperatures 5 to 9 degrees above normal for the foreseeable future. Today may be the hottest of the week with highs near 100. A for rain, the best chances will come at night, We could see stray thunderstorms move in overnight tonight. Those storms could be strong. Nearly every night this week will come with a least a slight chance of storms, but promising rain chances are not part of the forecast.
Wichita Falls has landed about a half inch of rain this month, which has historically been our wettest of the year.
