SEYMOUR, TX (KAUZ) -

A couple from Seymour celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this weekend in style.

Glenna and Billy Worthington were surprised with a 1956 Chevy to ride to their anniversary celebration in.

The owner of the car, Michael Hampton, drove two hours from Gorman to Seymour for the occasion.

The couple's daughter, Laura Worthington Reed, posted on Facebook that she was looking for a similar car for her parent's anniversary celebration.

She said Hampton reached out to her after seeing the post and offered to help for free.

The car is special to the couple because when they first met, Billy was driving a similar car.

Congratulations on 60 years of marriage.
