Isolated Storms Possible, Humidity Trending Downward

Source KAUZ Source KAUZ

We're tracking a few opportunities for rain, both over the next 36 hours, and toward the far end of the seven day forecast. A stray thunderstorm is possible this morning then again overnight tonight. Near term rain chances come from a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Otherwise today will be hot and humid with highs in the upper 90s. Things don't change much for the remainder of the week. Skies will be partly cloudy, winds will be southerly and high temperatures will be in the upper 90s. One positive note this week is humidity trending downward starting tomorrow.

The long term forecast is offering some good news with what appears to be a tropical disturbance moving north into Texas bringing clouds, fair rain chances and cooler temperatures. Highs may be in the 80s Sunday into Monday.
