WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The graduation for the June session of the Wichita Falls Police Department Junior Police Academy happened Friday morning.
WFPD said its just as much fun for them as it is for the kids.
They went scuba diving, investigated a crime scene, learned about first responder workout routines, they even went and did some fire department training.
"It actually guided me to what I wanna do when I get older, now I definitely know I don't want to be a firefighter," said a Junior Academy Graduate Eden Wolf. "Now I'm looking into being a detective and crime scene investigator, it's just that whole point of view."
Everyone was rewarded with a certificate and a free ticket to Castaway Cove.
The next session begins on July 23 and is already full.
