Afternoon storm chances look better today as a weather disturbance pushes into Texoma from east Texas. You can expect numerous pop up thunderstorms starting shortly afternoon and lasting into the evening. These likely won't ruin your day, but could interrupt plans briefly. Also remember with the pop up thunderstorms it is likely that your neighbor could see rain while you don't. The biggest threat is going to be lightning. Winds will pick up with thunderstorms.
Overall with the greater rain chance and increase in cloud coverage, temperatures should stay in the mid 90s. Winds for the most part will be calm out of the SE 5-10 mph.
The chance for pop up storms sticks around Friday, but coverage will be much more spotty. Highs will be back in the upper 90s.
Triple digits are still likely starting this weekend and into next week.
