GRAHAM, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

The Graham Police Department has released body camera footage of officers detaining an autistic man outside of his home on June 26.

The police department received backlash on social media regarding how the officers handled the incident involving 19-year-old Michael Moore.

In the statement, released on July 2, police said a caller described the person as someone who was "not all there." But that description was not passed on to the officers who responded to the scene.

Tracie Moore, Michael's mom, said she too is angry about the incident. According to Moore, Michael was injured and taken to the emergency room, adding a blood vessel burst in his eye and he had multiple bruises.

She said they have shown her the video of what happened, but she said it cuts off when the two officers and her son fall to the ground.
