WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - You can expect some changes at the Museum of North Texas History in Downtown Wichita Falls.
A new interactive exhibit for children is currently being made.
This is a brand new addition to the museum which covers how North Texas became what it is today.
Staff of the museum hope this exhibit gets kids more involved and interested in learning about history.
"Because most museums you can't touch anything, and the children are very good in here about not touching things, but we wanted to be a little bit more personal for them," said museum Curator, LeAnne Ray, "If they can feel it and touch it and play with it maybe they'll learn a little bit more about it and learn to love history a little more like we do."
A date has not been set for the official opening, but organizers at the museum said they hope it will open sometime this Fall.
