WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - Elizabeth Yeager announced on Monday she is running for re-election to the Wichita Falls Independent School District Board of Trustees, At-Large.
Yeager said it has been a privilege to serve in the role for the past four years, working to help more than 14,000 students achieve their fullest potential.
She said she is proud of the gains the WFISD has made and feels she has a clear understanding of the challenges the district continues to face and the need for creative, community-based solutions.
Yeager believes her experience as a trustee and dedicated community advocate uniquely qualifies her to serve as an at-large trustee.
Yeager pledged to continue to work hard, listen to the needs and concerns of students, teachers, parents, and community members, and do her best to make decisions that benefit every student in WFISD.
She has deep roots in Wichita Falls and great respect for community values and traditions.
Yeager added her focus is on the future of our community and that she believes the foundation of our success is a strong public education system.
