South winds return today along with triple digit heat. Our forecast high is 102. Tomorrow looks hotter still despite a chance of isolated, afternoon thunderstorms. Clouds and north winds might return Friday to help keep 100 degree heat away, then we're back to hot Saturday.
The seven day forecast reflects a weather pattern change. One that will lead to a notable drop in temperatures and perhaps improving rain chances. Winds are forecast to become northerly Sunday into Monday. As a result, high temperatures will be closer to 90 degrees than 100.
As you can imagine, being late July, this won't last long.
