Investigation leads Drug Enforcement Division to black tar heroin

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - An investigation involving the Wichita County District Attorney's Office Drug Enforcement Division (DED) has led to an arrest and the discovery of heroin.

Court documents say DED investigators place 27-year-old Marquise Isham of Wichita Falls under surveillance for several weeks.

That surveillance led them to two properties; one in the 3000 block of Pennsylvania Road and another in the 1100 block of Hawthorne Street.

Simultaneous search warrants were executed at the properties on Wednesday.

Investigators say they found nearly 13 grams of a substance that field tested positive for heroin during the searches.

Isham was arrested and charged with the Manufacture or Delivery of a Substance in PG 1, to wit Heroin, O/4-U/200 grams.

As of Friday afternoon, he remains in the Wichita County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
