WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The Texas Oklahoma Fair opened Tuesday evening in Wichita Falls.
The annual event aims to raise money that helps community organizations in the Texoma area.
This is the 17th year for the event that is hosted by the Lions Club of Wichita Falls.
"This fair is our clubs only fundraiser. However much [of what] we make on this fair it's given to local charities. All the fair proceeds stay in this area and things like Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels [and] the Boy Scouts of America," said Lions Club President Lou Murdock.
The Texas Oklahoma Fair runs through Saturday.
