WICHITA FALLS, TX (RNN Texoma) - Nearly 70 people took part in Monday’s Social Media Day event, put on by Midwestern State University’s Department of Mass Communication and Division of Student Affairs.
Organizers say classes were offered on everything from scheduling tweets to using LinkedIn.
More students checked in on Instagram and Snapchat than on any other social network.
College students, faculty and staff joined with members of the public to discuss how to use the latest in social media, and how to use it responsibly.
High school students from the Harrold, Wichita Falls and Archers City Independent School Districts also took part in the activities.
