WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - After an amazing Monday weather wise, a cold front moves in today bringing temperatures more typical for January back to Texoma. Today will be a cloudier and windier day than Monday. Winds will become gusty out of the north in the wake of this morning’s cold front. Today’s high will be in the upper 50s. Despite mostly sunny skies highs Wednesday will be in the mid 50s.
Clouds roll in Thursday ahead of our next rain maker. Along with clouds Thursday will be a chilly day with highs only in the mid and upper 40s. Without a doubt the best chance of rain all week comes Friday with a wide swath of rain will sweep across Oklahoma and Texas. Based on the latest data, we don’t see any chance of wintry weather with this system. We could see widespread one inch rains across Texoma. Good rain chances should be done by Saturday morning.
