WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The Obedience Training Club of Wichita Falls held a special class for seniors Wednesday.
K-9′s practiced heeling and staying still until called.
They were rewarded with some tasty treats when they did things right.
Instructor Linda Musgrave says owners and their pets were both making big strides at the early stages in the training.
“Most of these dogs have never done any kind of obedience nor have their handlers, so everything is new to them,” Musgrave said. "We still have a lot to work through but just getting your dog out and moving them around, and our job is to help the public train their dog, not us train them but help the handlers train them.”
Register at the Parks and Recreation Dept 600 11th St room 209 or online. There are many classes listed.
Make sure you select the intended session, class & time.
