WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Members of the Dallas Black Dance Theater performed for students at Rider High School Friday morning.
It’s the group’s first time to be in Wichita Falls and in part of a collaboration with the Wichita Falls Ballet Theater.
Even students got in on the act.
Melissa Young, artistic Director for the Dallas Black Dance Theater says there were three different dance performances.
"After generation and generation, everyone’s legacy in history is different. It’s important and relevant in the beauty of what we present through music and dance. It’s timeless, it’s timely, it will always make sense to young people and adults as well sitting in those seats.>
The Wichita Falls Ballet Theater’s Third annual Signature Series performances will take place at the Fain Fine Arts Theater at Midwestern State University Friday and Saturday nights.
