WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Another new business has officially opened its doors in downtown Wichita Falls.

On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, Texoma Community Credit Union cut the ribbon on a brand new branch at 8th and Scott.

Members of the branch were invited to stop by for an open house, refreshments and giveaways.

The branch has a different kind of layout, with very open spaces that will offer customers a different banking experience. In the historic City National Building, TCCU’s third location also features new technologies that allow for a small footprint but a big impact on customer service.

“I would say it probably was an easy one for our board for our executive team.. You know there was so much life happening downtown so much resurgence we really wanted to be a part of that and we felt we could better serve our community by being here.” said TCCU Marketing Director, Lauren McKechnie.

The new Downtown branch is also home to TCCU's new Commercial Loan Department, and Commercial Loan Manager, Randy Brewster.

"We are excited to expand our services and offering to our business members with the opening of this new location," said Brewster. "Our goal was to meet current and potential members where they are – both physically by choosing to be at the center of downtown, and financially – by serving businesses of every size. We aim to serve those that may have been overlooked and undeserved elsewhere."

TCCU Downtown is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to noon.

It currently houses a walk-up ATM on 8th Street that is available 24/7, with plans to expand to drive-thru service at a later date.
