WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Today, though cloudier and windier than yesterday, will be a nice one with a south breeze and highs in the 70s. Rain chance increase tonight with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Rain chances are best overnight west of Wichita Falls, toward Altus and Quanah. We continue with a chance of hit and miss showers and thunderstorms Saturday with the best chances east of I-44 and US 287, including Waurika and Bowie.
Sunday will be one of our warmest day of the year so far and our warmest day since Valentine’s Day with high close to 80 degrees. We’ll keep an eye out for a stray thunderstorm east of Wichita Falls Sunday afternoon when hail-producing thunderstorms are possible. Next week starts sunny with slightly cooler weather and a north breeze.
