WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Both winds and temperatures are increasing in the forecast, at least through Friday. After a virtually wind-free Tuesday, gusty south winds return today and remain in the forecast through Friday evening. The south winds bring the warmest weather in the seven day with highs from 75 to 80 degrees through Friday. A strong cold front arrives Friday night turning our winds northerly and delivering a significantly cooler weekend.
Not only will Saturday be cooler but it will also be windy with strong north winds. Temperatures will be in the 50s most of the day. Highs will be in the upper 50s Sunday too. Morning lows will be in the 30s Sunday and Monday but we should avoid freezing temps
