WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - After a sunny Tuesday, we’re going to see a lot of clouds today as well as a lot of winds. Today will be the windiest day of the work week with south winds at 15 to 25 miles per hour. We expect to see thunderstorms in the area tonight, mainly over Oklahoma. There’s is a threat of hail producing storms over western Oklahoma, along and north of US highway 62. There’s a chance of rain in Texoma through early Thursday morning. Thursday and Friday bring less wind, more sunshine and highs near 80 degrees.
Another chance of thunderstorms come Friday night into Saturday morning. The best rain chances should be gone by early Saturday afternoon. Winds are looking gusty this weekend but temperatures warm with highs from 75 to 80 degrees. Our weather is looking quiet early next week.
