WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The weather headline this week is heat. The forecast high temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday are considered normal for early June. The forecast high for Wednesday is 90 degrees, only six degrees shy of the record for April 10th.
The second half of the work week will be noticeably cooler thanks to a cold front sweeping through Wednesday night. Highs will be only in the 60s Thursday and Friday. Temperatures might drop to the 30s Thursday night.
Longer range forecast models hint at a chance of showers and thunderstorms this weekend. There has been a consistent signal of fair rain chances through the day Saturday, when temperatures may not break out of the 50s.
