WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Kids got the chance to get interactive with chemistry Saturday morning at the Wichita Falls Public Library.
MSU students, part of the local chapter of The American Chemical Society led the students in some fun activities including making chemical artwork, making a bouncy ball and demonstrating how flammable fumes ignite.
“We love bringing back the chemistry to kids,” American Chemical Society Chapter President Maddison Allison said. “Whether it’s inspiring chemistry at a young age or just introducing it to them. Our main goal is just to educate them so that way they enjoy chemistry and don’t hate it in the future.”
The American Chemistry Society chapter at MSU will be hosting a chemical carnival for the local Boys and Girls Clubs, that event is coming up on April 26th.
