WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Warm and windy is an easy way to describe the first half of the work week. It will be hard to escape the wind this week with gusty south winds forecast through Wednesday, then strong north winds behind a cold front Wednesday night. Temperatures will be quite warm next few days with highs around 80 degrees.
A disturbance sweeping across the Rockies arrives bringing a chance of strong storms to Oklahoma and Texas Wednesday. Though it looks like the best chance of rain will be east of Wichita Falls. A cold front brings strong north winds and cooler temperatures Thursday when highs will be in the 60s. From this distance, the Easter weekend will be warm and rain free.
