WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) -

BOWIE HIRES JOE CRABB AS GIRLS BASKETBALL HEAD COACH

Two months after Chuck Hall resigned as head girls basketball coach, Bowie has hireed Joe Crabb to replace him.

Crabb comes to Bowie after coaching 24 years in Texas.

Crabb has won 610 games at three different schools, including 114 games in his past four seasons at Garden City.

He also made five runs to the regional finals at Strawn and took the Lady Bearkats to the state tournament this past season.

“Coach Crabb is very respected in the coaching industry,” Bowie Athletic Director Dylan Stark said. “Has has won a lot of games and we are very excited that he will be the next girls basketball coach at Bowie.”

ELECTRA HIRES MIKE HILL AS HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH

The Electra Lady Tigers named Mike Hill their new head volleyball coach today.

Hill comes from Kemp ISD and has been coaching for 24 years and has earned 603 career wins.

Electra AD Brian Ramsey said he is confident Hill can build a solid program at Electra.
