JACKSBORO, TX (TNN) - Police in Jacksboro say a man has been arrested after one dozen homes and businesses were found damaged across the city.

Jacksboro Police Chief Scott Haynes tells News Channel 6 that most of the damage was done to local businesses, though a few residences were also damaged.

He says police linked the crimes together in part because the damage was consistent across all 12 locations: damage to the front door of the businesses as well as to the wall mounted electrical meter boxes.

Police and Sheriff Deputies began surveillance on a person of interest sometime shortly after the investigation began early Wednesday morning. Within minutes, officers made contact with the person of interest, who fled the area on foot when they tried to detain him.

Police say 40-year-old Bray Rand Little of Jacksboro was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

Little faces multiple charges including Evading Arrest/Detention with a Prior Conviction, Public Intoxication - Enhanced and Criminal Mischief greater than $2,500.

Haynes say, while the investigation is ongoing, a total of twelve victims have been identified with total damages greater $16,000.

Little remains in the Jack County Jail, Thursday, with a bond of $100,000.

There may be additional victims that have not been identified. If you feel like you experienced property damage, please feel free to contact the Jacksboro PD at 940-567-2666.
