WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - A cold front found north Texas this morning making for a windy and cooler Thursday. Winds will be strong out of the north through late afternoon. After highs in the mid 80s yesterday, we’ll see highs near 70 today. Rain remains in the forecast today with a stray thunderstorm late this afternoon. Severe weather is not expected.
We get better weather Friday despite a chilly morning. Friday afternoon will be sunny with a north breeze, highs will be in the low 70s. Winds become southerly Saturday making for a much warmer day. With strong south winds and sunshine, highs will be in the mid 80s. Easter will be windy and quite warm with highs in the mid and upper 80s. Our next chance of rain after today comes Monday into Tuesday.
