WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Hundreds of area children and their parents filled the areas surrounding the Evangel Church on Barnet Road this morning for their annual Eggsapalooza event.
Eggsapalooza featured poney rides, several bounces houses, food and the main event: a massive Easter Egg Hunt.
Organizers say the event has come a long way since it began sixteen years ago.
“Well it started back in our gym, we used to have eggsapalooza back there and the egg hunt was actually in the gym,” Children’s Pastor Jamey Pearson said. “It’s gone from the gym to the sanctuary, now it’s gotten so big we have to have it outside with all of the events.”
Churches and families across Texoma are hosting Easter celebrations this weekend.
The pastors of the Evangel Church say if you don’t have a church home, you are welcome to join them Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for their Resurrection Sunday Services.
