WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - After a nice Easter weekend, rain has returned to Texoma’s forecast. In fact, today is the first of three to four days in which rain is possible in the area. Clouds will increase through the day today with rain expected to hold off until this evening. Tonight’s rain chances comes with a chance of strong storms. Thunderstorms move our way from west Texas after sunset. The strongest storms could produce winds over over 50 miles per hour.
Good chances of rain remain after midnight when heavy rain is likely especially along and north of the Red river. Decent rain chances stay with us through Tuesday night into Wednesday but the risk of severe storms migrates south into central Texas. Then, we get slight rain chances for Thursday. Looks like we’re back to very warm weather by the weekend when south winds return.
