WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Today was an absolutely windy day. However there is some relief in the forecast. The winds will still be ripping tomorrow, however they will only be about 10-20 until our next cold front on Wednesday. After the cold front moves through the winds will calm down to about 5 miles per hour. However the low pressure system that is moving in the area is going to give us some rain and storm chances. A few of these storms could be severe, the main threats will be hail and gusty winds. It looks like it will rain early Tuesday and have on and off showers throughout the day. Some early chances for rain towards the east and southeastern counties for Wednesday. But Thursday will be the day we start warming back up and we’ll have a run at the 80s once again by next weekend.
