WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The storm system responsible for bringing torrential rain to Texas continues to spin over northern Mexico and it’s not going to move much today. Therefore, rain remains in Texoma’s forecast, though the best chances of meaningful rain will stay south of Wichita Falls.
Our rain maker moves east tonight into Thursday bringing good rain chances to an end Thursday morning. We’re back to sunny skies Friday when highs will be near 80. There’s still some questions about the weekend forecast. Confident we’ll see warm temperatures and gusty winds. Models hint at a cold front in the Red River valley by Saturday afternoon. A cold front might bring a slight chance of thunderstorms to the area.
