WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Aside from a stray shower early this morning, rain chances are gone. We’ll see sunny skies today, and after highs only in the mid 60s yesterday, today we’ll make it to 80 degrees. Winds will be northerly all day. A few clouds might return Friday, otherwise it will be pleasant as well with highs in the 70s. The weekend will be warm and spring like with gusty winds and highs in the 80s.
A cold front sags into the Red River valley Saturday afternoon helping to trigger a few isolated thunderstorms. Rain is not expected to have a big impact on area events. We’ll maintain slight rain chances for Sunday too when highs will be in the low 80s. Better rain chances come Tuesday and Wednesday when strong to severe thunderstorms may impact the region.
