WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - We issued a first alert weather day for this afternoon and evening. Today we can expect another round of storms in the afternoon and evening hours. These storms do not appear to have the same intensity as of those we saw yesterday. The main threats will be some hail, damaging winds and flooding. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Showers will move up from the southeast to the northwest until the frontal boundary moves through the area. This will then push the storms out of the area for the evening. Currently giving it a 50% chance of rain as of right now. The high for today will be in the upper 70s and even the lower 80s for a few places. The low for tonight will be right around 60 degrees. Chances for rain and storms will continue throughout the rest of this week. Temperatures will remain cooler as we approach the weekend. But after the weekend we should start warming up back into the mid 80s. .
